Shane Bowler

U-14/U-16 Head Coach

Shane Bowler is a hockey instructor and the owner of The Hockey Institute. He has been teaching and coaching hockey for over 20 years. He has helped hundreds of players in Canada, the United States, Sweden and China.

Shane was a successful hockey player in his career. He won the League Most Gentlemanly Player award as a rookie in the Metro League. He was the league MVP in the GOJHL in 1991. He was a Unanimous First Team All American in the NCAA in 94-95. He led the Division in scoring and set several school and NCAA records.

Shane offers power skating sessions, skill development clinics, team training camps, and private lessons. He is a certified instructor and a former competitive skater. He teaches players how to improve their speed, agility, balance, and technique on the ice.
