Hudson Lambert

I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to lead the U16 team for the upcoming season. I bring a comprehensive playing background to the program, including my time in the OJHL, five seasons at the NCAA Division I level with Canisius College, and professional experience in the SPHL.
Since transitioning into coaching, I have gained valuable experience working with elite youth players, including running Minor Midget practices for the Don Mills Flyers and coaching within the Marksmen program in Fayetteville, NC. My coaching philosophy is centered on player development, accountability, and fostering a competitive, high-character team culture.

 

Biography
Junior Career (2016–2019)

Lambert developed his game in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), where he established himself as a dependable two-way defenseman. Throughout his junior career, he earned increased responsibility and took on leadership roles, showcasing his maturity and ability to contribute in all situations.

NCAA Division I – Canisius College (2019–2024)

Lambert advanced to the NCAA Division I level with Canisius College, where he played five seasons and became a steady presence on the blue line.
During his time with the Golden Griffins, he:

  • Helped the team capture the 2023 Atlantic Hockey Championship
  • Appeared in over 100 career games
  • Earned multiple Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team selections
Professional Career (2024–Present)

Following his collegiate career, Lambert moved to the professional ranks, beginning his career with the Fayetteville Marksmen (SPHL). He brings a physical, defensively reliable presence, along with strong puck movement and composure under pressure.
