Assistant Coach
Lennon Gowan isn’t just a coach; he’s a veteran of the game who has seen both sides of the rink.
He began his career as a goaltender, notably playing for the Georgina Ice in the Central Ontario Junior Hockey League. With a memorable shutout under his belt, his journey took a new turn.
Today, Gowan has transitioned from stopping pucks to building future stars. He now brings his on-ice experience to the bench as an Assistant Coach for the Simcoe County Academy. He is a key part of an elite hockey program, mentoring the next generation of players and shaping their careers both on and off the ice.
It’s a story of a player who traded his pads for a clipboard, proving that the passion for the game lasts long after the final whistle.
